| On the first day after leaving the massage chairs of JFK behind us, we arrive in Pisa. We head an hour south to Antinori's Guado al Tasso estate near Bolgheri, our home for the next week. We are the first group ever invited to stay at the estate. Allegra Antinori joins us for dinner to tell us the history of the family in this area of Tuscany. After much wine the evening ends with Antinori estate Grappa and Brandy. This of course sets the tone to how the week will progress! |
